DESCRIPTION
One Pack Gold and Silver UV curable inks for letterpress and offset printing. Designed primarily for the printing of self adhesive labels, non absorbent paper and board.
PROPERTIES
Stable One Pack Inks. ITX and solvent free. Fast cure speed
APPLICATION
Mix well before use. Plates: most plates for UV use. CTP plates may be more sensitive to the abrasive nature of the metallic pigments. UV Lamps: minimum 80 w/cm. Print speeds up to 75 m/min
SUBSTRATES
Coated papers and boards. Coated/treated PE. Other materials after suitable testing.
GUIDELINES FOR USE
Additives: Additives are not recommended as they may impact the stability or optical properties of the ink. If necessary;
UV Thinner: Add up to 3% of a reactive diluent such as GPTA, TPGDA or TMP (eo)TA to reduce the viscosity of the ink.
Thermal Printing: RLM inks are not suitable for thermal papers
Varnishes: RLM series may be varnished with a UV Varnish to improve resistance properties of the ink. Our technical department can provide advice for the best varnish for your application.
Cleaning: Equipment does not need to be cleaned immediately provided there is no exposure to sunlight. Ink should be cleaned with a specialist UV wash such as RLA350.

STORAGE & HANDLING
Store at temperatures between 150C and 200C. In unopened containers RLM47* series inks have a shelf life of 6 months.
