Introducing Pantone’s Brand New Color of 2022 Printed with PureTone Inks
The long-awaited Pantone ‘color of the year’ for 2022 was announced last week with ‘Very Peri’, a brand NEW Pantone colour, whose ‘courageous presence encourages personal inventiveness and creativity.’
It’s become an annual event here at Pulse Roll Label Products for us to showcase the simplicity of our PureTone ink system by matching and blending the ‘color of the year’.
Developed to provide standardisation and colour consistency to save narrow web and label printers time and reduce waste, spot colours can easily be matched and blended with our PureTone mixing bases which are formulated to print at the SAME high strength using a STANDARD VOLUME anilox.
Our Lab team matched this year’s ‘Very Peri’ to a ΔE2000 of 0.4 using our PureTone database which is supported by X-Rite’s InkFormulation Software and eXact, and was printed with a 6 vol anilox using our pre-press proofing equipment from RK PrintCoat Instruments Ltd.
So why is PureTone unique? A standard 5 or 6 volume anilox can be used for spot colours which provides greater consistency and flexibility. With high colour strength, lower film weights are required which means less print issues, higher adhesion, improved halftone and better cure.
And with only ten mixing bases, you can save money and space, reduce transport and achieve higher accuracy by removing the variables often associated with more traditional mixing systems.
So, if you want to save time and money and find out how PureTone can add value to YOUR business, then we would love to hear from you. Simply get in touch.
