As a manufacturer of inks and varnishes to the global narrow web printing industry, Pulse Roll Label Products Ltd. is a member of the BCF (British Coatings Federation) (and therefore EuPIA) as well as the BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation) and FINAT (Féderation INternationale des fabricants et transformateurs d’Adhésifs et Thermocollants sur papiers et autres supports).
We comply with all relevant legislation, industry regulations and follow best practices and guidelines promoted by these trade associations.
Food Packaging Compliance
Our BCF membership ensures that we are constantly updated with legislative changes, particularly with regard to the complex area of potential ink migration and compliance for food packaging.
We are fully committed to the principles of protecting food consumer safety within the areas under our control. Understanding the challenging requirements of food packaging compliance ensures that we can offer our customers the latest support, information and products which comply with the appropriate regulations and guidelines.
Pulse Roll Label Products is committed to manufacturing products in a responsible manner and sustainable development is an important part of our business strategy.
Echoing the definition stated by the British Coatings Federation (BCF), of which we are a member, we believe in producing printing inks “in a way that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs”.
We consider sustainability to be a journey, from which learning and improvement will follow, which demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement across our entire business.
We recognise the importance of social responsibility and that environmental sustainability leads to economic prosperity – together these elements help to build a strong foundation and platform for sustainable business growth – and make a positive contribution towards protecting our planet for the future generation.
Managing and reducing environmental impact is an important feature of our activities. Sustainable waste management, along with the adoption of lean manufacturing philosophies to increase our efficiencies and make us work smarter, is embedded in our workplace culture and demonstrated in the behaviour of our employees who play a key role in realising these efforts as part of our sustainability journey.
We take responsibility for ensuring that we can deliver safe and efficient products and that we minimise environmental impact and reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible.
Sustainability is considered across the business from the selection of raw materials used in the manufacture of inks, varnishes and coatings, to our production and business processes, finished packaged products and the services that we provide. It encompasses the health and well-being of our staff, training and personal development and the impact that our operations have on our local community and the industry in which we operate.
We comply with all relevant environmental legislation, industry regulations and follow best practices promoted by our trade associations including the British Coatings Federation (BCF) and British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF). We also partner with leading experts in environmental and waste management solutions to support our sustainability journey.
